At the Farmhouse Le Risaie in Basiglio (MI), a few km from Milan, the Asino Anchio ETS association offers routes of pet therapy and animal-assisted interventions for children, adults and people with frailty. Where we are
The property is located in Basiglio, in the Southern Milan Agricultural Park, connected to the city via the 230 ATM line connecting to the MM2 subway. The spaces, within the Penati Farm, are designed to accommodate the different types of activities proposed: social, educational, educational, training and therapeutic.
Pet therapy in Milan
Pet therapy has a long history in the field of rehabilitation and support for people. Animal-Assisted Interventions (IAA) are integrated into numerous support programs aimed at people with disabilities, addictions, relational difficulties or situations of social distress. The Asino Anchio ETS association operates in Basiglio (MI) with a qualified team, according to the 2015 IAA National Guidelines, and offers individual and group courses adapted to the needs of each beneficiary.
Children and young people with disabilities particularly benefit from the opportunity to take direct care of animals, developing a sense of responsibility, self-esteem and interpersonal skills. Contact with donkeys, alpacas, goats and sheep, in an open and safe environment in the South Milan Agricultural Park, promotes communication, respect and emotional awareness. Each course is designed with specific and verifiable objectives, calibrated to the characteristics of each participant.

Why DONKEY TOO
The social promotion association Asino Anchio ETS was founded in 2020, founded by Roberta and Martina with the aim of valuing the often unknown qualities of donkeys and of bringing their therapeutic contribution to the service of people. The name is an open challenge against prejudice: intelligent, sensitive and capable of slowing down the pace of those who approach them, donkeys are at the center of every proposed activity. Alpacas, goats, sheep and Australian Cattle Dog dogs live alongside them. The association's IAA team, with experience gained even before the introduction of the 2015 National Guidelines, operates today at the service of people with disabilities, frailty or in conditions of social distress, with recognized competence and constant attention to animal welfare.

Animal-assisted interventions in the Southern Milan Agricultural Park
The Asino Anchio ETS association conducts Animal-Assisted Interventions (IAA) at the Farmhouse Le Risaie in Basiglio (MI), within the Southern Milan Agricultural Park. The spaces dedicated to the activities are structured to ensure safety and well-being for participants and animals at every stage of the intervention.
Every activity is built around the human-animal relationship: a bond that stems from affection, respect and mutual trust. The donkey, with its slow pace and its extraordinary sensitivity, proves to be a natural mediator in any therapeutic and educational context, capable of responding to the emotions of the human partner in a spontaneous and authentic way.
The courses are open to people of all ages and conditions: from children with learning difficulties to adults in recovery, from school groups to families. Each intervention is preceded by a needs assessment and takes place exclusively by appointment, in a welcoming and professional environment.
Social activities
The Asino Anch'io association organizes social activities for children, families and groups at the Farmhouse Le Risaie in Basiglio (MI). Summer camps and farm days allow young people to discover the rural world through play, animal care and outdoor experiences.
For those who want to experience a special occasion in an original way, the association offers birthday parties in the company of animals, guided tours in small groups, donkey walks and personalized experiences to get to know the life of the association up close.
Gift cards are available for activities with animals, ideal for those who want to give a meaningful and out of the ordinary experience. All social activities take place by appointment and are adapted to the needs of the participants.
Educational activities
The Asino Anch'io association offers educational workshops related to the territory: from the milk and cheese cycle to the processing of corn and rice, from the egg cycle to the processing of alpaca wool, to the transformation of clay. Practical activities that bring children and teenagers closer to rural life and to the rhythms of nature.
For schools of all levels, the association organizes educational outings with visits and thematic workshops, and carries out interventions directly in the classroom on the theme of the human-animal relationship to develop social attitudes and respect for living beings.
For classes that want a continuous connection with the animal world, the remote adoption program for donkeys and alpacas is active: an educational project that involves the entire class in a journey of care, responsibility and discovery.
Educational and training activities

The courses, structured with defined and verifiable objectives, are aimed at people with disabilities, frailty or in conditions of social distress.
For professionals in the sector and for those who want to get closer to the world of donkeys, the association offers IAA training courses, seminars and workshops with equine experts, as well as advice for donkey management in a private or professional environment.
Asino Anchio also organizes team building activities for schools and companies: experiential paths in contact with animals that promote group cohesion, communication and the ability to work together in a creative and conscious way.
